We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Anuradha Hettige as the Chief Operating Officer of Assetline Insurance Brokers (Private) Limited (AIBL), effective from 19 September 2024.
Mr. Hettige has over 15 years of experience as an insurance professional, having worked with both insurance and brokering companies. He began his career as an Insurance Assistant at Asian Alliance Insurance in 2009, where he was later promoted to Senior Executive. In 2014, he joined Janashakthi General Insurance as an Assistant Manager and was subsequently promoted to Manager. He then moved to Allianz Insurance, where he served as the Head of Motor Claims. In 2021, he joined AIBL as the Head of Operations, and now, in his career progression, he has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of AIBL.
Mr. Hettige holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Gloucestershire, UK, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from ABE Global, UK. He also holds a Professional Qualification in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from OTHM, UK. Additionally, he earned a Diploma from the Sri Lanka Institute of Insurance and is currently pursuing a Chartered Insurance qualification at the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK.
An avid cricketer, Mr. Hettige captained Kingswood's 1st XI team while serving as the school's Head Prefect, one of the very few students to hold both positions simultaneously. Currently, he is a member of the DPG Cricket Team.
